The Hands Behind Craftsman Lecona 

I'm the maker behind Craftsman Lecona.

I'm a family man, grateful to God for the opportunity to create with my hands. I've always enjoyed making things, whether through playing guitar and piano, sketching, or building something from scratch. That passion eventually led me to leathercraft and the joy of creating something meaningful that can be carried and enjoyed every day.

From my small workshop in North Carolina, I handcraft leather wallets, notebook covers, and everyday accessories. Some are original designs, while others are thoughtful interpretations of timeless classics, adapted for greater capacity, functionality, and everyday needs.

I enjoy working with exceptional leathers from around the world, including American Horween, Italian Buttero and Pueblo, and Japanese Shell Cordovan. Each leather brings its own unique character and beauty.

Every piece is made by hand, one at a time, using traditional saddle stitching and careful attention to detail. My goal is simple: to create honest, functional leather goods that are built to last and grow more beautiful with time and use.
