Hi there, I’m Cedric — the crafter and creator behind Craftsman Lecona.

I’m a family man, grateful every day for the opportunity God has given me to do what I love. My journey into leatherwork came from a lifelong passion for creating with my hands — whether it was playing guitar, sketching, or building things from scratch, I’ve always been drawn to making something meaningful and lasting.

When I discovered the world of handcrafted leather goods, something clicked. I was captivated by the beauty of leather that tells a story — pieces that age with you, grow with you, and become part of your everyday life.

Over time, I’ve found myself drawn more and more to leather journals. There’s something truly special about them — they invite reflection, creativity, and stillness in a world that’s often too fast. Journaling helps us slow down, process life, capture memories, and even grow spiritually or emotionally. It’s personal, grounding — like a quiet space you carry with you. That feeling deeply resonated with me, and I knew I wanted to create more pieces that supported that kind of experience.

At Craftsman Lecona, I focus on making high-quality, handcrafted leather journals and accessories designed to last a lifetime. I use the finest full-grain cowhide and Shell Cordovan leather, sourced from respected tanneries in Italy, Japan, Mexico, and the U.S. These leathers retain their natural character and develop a rich, unique patina with time — they only get better with age.

For me, it’s about creating something with purpose, something that’s there with you through it all.
