At Craftsman Lecona, every leather good is handcrafted with care, using carefully selected premium leathers and traditional leatherworking techniques.

We take pride in our craftsmanship and stand behind the quality of the products we make.

Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms and exclusions outlined below.

1. Warranty Eligibility and Duration

This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of eligible Craftsman Lecona products and is non-transferable.

Coverage begins on the original purchase date and continues for the reasonable useful life of the product, for as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.

The reasonable useful life of a product depends on factors including its design, materials, age, condition, intended use, and normal wear over time. It does not mean that the product is guaranteed to last indefinitely.

An order number or other valid proof of purchase is required to request warranty service.

Personalized leather goods receive the same warranty coverage as non-personalized products.

2. Eligible Products

This warranty applies to the leather construction and qualifying handcrafted components of the following Craftsman Lecona products:

Only the covered leather construction and qualifying craftsmanship of these products are included. Consumable accessories and additional items are excluded as described below.

3. What Is Covered

Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that affect the structural integrity or intended function of an eligible product.

Examples of potentially covered issues include:

Leather failure caused by a verified material or manufacturing defect.
Saddle stitching failures resulting from defective craftsmanship.
Structural defects involving leather pockets, panels, or other handcrafted components.
Premature structural failures occurring under normal, intended use when the circumstances reasonably indicate a product-related defect.

Premature structural failures are evaluated individually, taking into account the nature of the damage, product age, condition, and circumstances of use.

Not every structural failure or broken stitch is necessarily a manufacturing defect.

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:

Normal wear and tear.
Natural leather aging and patina development.
Scratches, scuffs, stains, cosmetic marks, or surface abrasions.
Natural changes in leather color, texture, flexibility, or appearance.
Leather cracking caused by aging, dryness, improper care, or environmental exposure.
Accidental cuts, punctures, tears, burns, or other external damage.
Excessive moisture, prolonged water exposure, heat, chemicals, or improper storage.
Misuse, negligence, or use beyond the product's intended purpose or capacity.
Overstuffing wallets, card holders, or leather pockets.
Alterations, modifications, or third-party repairs that cause or contribute to the claimed damage.
Ordinary deterioration of stitching or other components that does not result from a covered defect.

5. Natural Leather Characteristics

At Craftsman Lecona, we work with carefully selected premium leathers, including full-grain leather, vegetable-tanned leathers, and Shell Cordovan.

Each leather has its own distinctive characteristics, textures, and natural variations.

Differences in grain, color, texture, natural markings, wrinkles, and other inherent characteristics are part of the material's unique nature and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Over time, leather may soften, develop creases, change in color, or acquire a distinctive patina depending on the leather type, usage, and environmental conditions.

These natural changes are expected and are not covered by this warranty.

However, verified material defects or premature structural failures that meet the conditions of this warranty remain eligible for evaluation and coverage.

6. The Landmark Notebook Collection

The Landmark Notebook Collection is covered against qualifying defects in its leather construction and handcrafted workmanship.

This includes eligible structural failures involving the leather cover, stitched pockets, and original leather perforations when caused by a covered defect.

The following are excluded:

Paper notebook inserts and refills.
Original and replacement elastic bands.
Additional consumable accessories.
Damage caused by user-made cuts, holes, punctures, or modifications.
Damage resulting from excessive tension, overloading, or improper use.

The exclusion of elastic bands does not automatically exclude a qualifying defect in the surrounding leather structure.

7. Warranty Repairs and Replacements

When a warranty claim is approved, Craftsman Lecona will prioritize repairing the original product whenever reasonably possible.

Covered warranty repairs are provided without charge for the repair work and necessary covered materials.

If a covered defect cannot be repaired satisfactorily, Craftsman Lecona may offer an equivalent replacement.

If the original product has been discontinued, a comparable model may be offered.

When the original leather type or color is unavailable, an alternative material or color may be proposed with the customer's approval.

Any replacement will be reasonably comparable in intended function and quality, although exact appearance, dimensions, materials, or design may vary.

Other remedies will be provided when required by applicable law.

8. How to Request Warranty Service

To submit a warranty claim, please contact Craftsman Lecona at:

Please include:

Your order number or proof of purchase.
The name of the product.
A brief description of the issue.
Clear photographs or video showing the affected area.

We will review your request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Additional information or a physical inspection may be necessary to determine warranty eligibility.

Any assessment based on photographs or video is preliminary until any required physical inspection has been completed.

Please do not ship a product without first receiving shipping instructions.

9. Warranty Shipping — United States

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their product to Craftsman Lecona for warranty evaluation or service.

For approved warranty claims, Craftsman Lecona will cover the cost of return shipping to an address within the United States.

If a claim is determined to be outside warranty coverage, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Any applicable charges will be communicated before return shipment.

These arrangements are subject to any additional obligations imposed by applicable law.

10. International Warranty Claims

Eligible original purchasers outside the United States may request warranty service.

International shipping arrangements, costs, customs duties, import taxes, and other applicable charges will be reviewed and communicated before shipment.

International customers must receive shipping instructions before sending a product.

Any legally required remedies or shipping obligations will be honored.

11. Warranty Inspections

Initial evaluations based on photographs or video are provided free of charge.

When a warranty claim is approved, no inspection fee will be charged.

If a physical inspection determines that the damage is not covered, a reasonable inspection fee may apply only when legally permitted and expressly disclosed and accepted by the customer before the fee is incurred.

No undisclosed inspection fees will be charged.

12. Repairs Outside Warranty

Craftsman Lecona may offer paid repairs for damage not covered by this warranty.

Availability depends on the type of damage, condition of the product, materials required, and workshop capacity.

Any proposed repair charges will be communicated for customer approval before work begins.

Craftsman Lecona is not obligated under this warranty to perform repairs for excluded damage.

13. Unclaimed Products

If a product remains in our possession following an inspection or repair, and the customer does not respond to requests regarding return shipping, payment, or collection, Craftsman Lecona will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the contact information provided.

Any further handling of unclaimed products will follow applicable law.

Products will not be considered abandoned or disposed of solely because a customer has failed to respond to an initial communication.

15. Your Legal Rights

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
