Custom Leather Notebook Covers – Personalized from Classic Foundations

Thank you for your interest in a custom leather notebook cover! I’m Craftsman Lecona, and I handcraft every cover with care, attention to detail, and durability—ensuring a piece that’s both functional and truly unique to you.

Start with a Base Model

All custom covers begin with one of my two signature designs:

• The Classic – A timeless, minimalist notebook cover.
• The Heritage – A more detailed and elegant design with vintage character.

From there, you can personalize nearly every detail:

• Notebook size (A5, A6, Field Notes, etc.)
• Closure method (snap, strap, wrap, open)
• Leather color and finish
• Type of leather (Buttero, Pueblo, Horween Dublin, Shell Cordovan, etc.)
• Tannery (Wickett & Craig, Horween, Rocado, Badalassi, and others)
• Engraving, pockets, and more.

How to Order

1. Deposit & Budget Range

• A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to begin your custom order. This secures your spot in my schedule and allows me to begin working with you on the design.
• Final pricing depends on the level of customization. Most custom covers range from $150 and up, depending on your preferences.
• There’s no fixed maximum price — I’ll work within the budget range you provide (e.g., $150–$250, $300–$500, $500+). The more detailed or premium the build, the higher the investment.
• Once you share your budget, I’ll propose the best options available for your range.

2. Design & Material Selection

• After I receive your deposit, I’ll reach out to begin the design process.
• Please send your ideas, sketches, or inspiration to customcraftsmanlecona@gmail.com.
• Once we finalize the design, I’ll help you choose the right leather, color, and features.
• I’ll then send a digital PDF of your design for final approval before materials are ordered.

3. Final Payment & Production

• I’ll calculate the remaining balance once your design and custom features are confirmed.
• After receiving the final payment, I’ll begin crafting your notebook cover.
• Production takes approximately 4 weeks, depending on complexity and material availability.
• Your order will be shipped as soon as it’s completed.

Important Policies

• The $100 deposit is non-refundable, as I immediately begin preparing materials and reserving time for your project.
• Custom orders cannot be canceled or refunded under any circumstances. Once your order is placed, all sales are final.
